I have this idea for an artwork so I'm just gonna put it here in case I forget. It's a landscape and you can see how the world is in ruins. Despite that, the sky's still full of color. Then there's one person (and maybe a dog) enjoying all of it. I'd like to show a contrast in the colors. The lands would be dull and dirty and then the sky would be highly saturated and bright. OR what if I reversed it? It would be like with all the terrible things we're doing, Mother Nature can't keep up anymore. It won't be just the skies though. Everything would be dull except all the man-made stuff (and the people). You usually get pictures that have it the other way around and that usually implies that we are making the world into a gray-techno-craphouse and we overpower its colorfulness. I don't know. I'll think about it some more. I actually got the "one person and maybe a dog" thing from Citizen Z (oops more Z Nation). He's been crazy lonely for a heck of a long time. Being lonely is agonizing even for just a short time. Imagine what it was like for him. Then one day, someone breaks that loneliness. He finally has someone to feel things about the world with. I'd like to incorporate that feeling of not being alone in times of unpleasantness in my art. 5:47 AM
